We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Rockhampton. The staff at Mercure were welcoming and even left a personalized welcome card in our room. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. We also appreciated the helpful recommendations from the receptionist for local dining options and other useful information. The hotel facilities, such as the gym and breakfast service, were excellent. it was a great experience for working travelers.

My family and I recently stayed at Mercure in Rockhampton for a few nights. The location by the Fitzroy River was lovely, with a great view to wake up to. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially when we couldn't dine by the pool due to the rain. The clean and comfortable room on the 6th floor had a nice view of the river, and the air conditioning kept us cool throughout the night. The swimming pool was a nice size for a refreshing swim. a pleasant stay at Mercure.

Fairly cheap and easy to find. Comfortable room.

Petty points really, shower is a syphon type from a single tap that serves the bath, didnt really work and the water temp was all over the place. Parking is available but fills quickly afterwards your shown to a dark alley behind some shops. Not really how they advertise it. The lift is also painfully slow.

I got great value for my money at Mercure in Rockhampton. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the river. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service.

The breakfast option could be improved by ensuring the food is served hotter.

This is a very low quality hotel and the description "panoramic river view" is a joke. Also, the room was dingy, and no hand towels and bath towels that were the same size as hand towels! The description "Studio" is very misleading - you couldn't "swing a cat" in the room" Relieved we only booked one night to break up long drive to Townsville!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The view of the river from my room on the 6th floor was breathtaking. The staff were very helpful and gave me some great recommendations for places to eat in this city. My room was serviced daily by the cleaners who did an exceptional job. They used mild cleaning products that left the room smelling fresh. The hotel location was perfect - quiet yet near all the amenities. The swimming pool was the perfect size for a quick swim and to cool off in. The air conditioning in the room worked great and kept me comfortably cool throughout the night.

Great location to Highway and Resturants,Good Business Hotel

We recently stayed in a hotel near the heart of the city and found the location perfect for exploring. The staff were professional and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice sized pool and plenty of parking. The breakfast was available daily at a very reasonable price, and we enjoyed the views from our room.

We were disappointed that they took the full price of the room in advance rather than a card swipe, which we found appalling.

For us the position was good, close to everything. The continental breakfast was nice, bar area was good.

Room was small, entrance way just wide enough to get my shoulders through, very much just a room to stay in for business

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and they quickly helped us with all our needs. We enjoyed staying in a spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed and a fantastic view of the river. we appreciated the availability of a small pool and gym as well as the convenience of being near many amenities.

One of the restaurants located in front of the hotel was closed during our stay, leaving us with fewer nearby dining options. there were some issues with our room, including difficulty with the USB ports and shower pressure and a non-functioning bedside table lamp.

It was very convenient and easy to find and there is on-site free car parking.

Unfortunately there is only one lift and as a large group booked in at the same time as us it took a long time to get up to our room.
